If you missed the Committee meeting on June 7th, you missed a lot of Committee business being handled. The members voted to elect new officers only every 2 years since the meeting schedule has gone from 4 to 2 meetings per year. A replacement Committee Secretary was voted in. All other officers remained. It was also agreed that the meetings would now begin at 10 a.m. instead of 9:30 in an effort to minimize the impact of traffic.

It's been a little while since we could all slow down enough to meet together. The Committee is planning to have a meeting in early June. Stay tuned to the Calendar for date/time and location.
Per the Committee's Certification Officer, Jeff Flynt, there are a number of issues facing the industry. Certification, on-line test reporting and Palomar College are just a few things that need to be known and addressed by the committee.

The Cross Connection Control Advisory Committee of San Diego County met for its regular quarterly meeting on April 14, 2016. We were graciously hosted by the City of San Diego Cross Connection Department. Topics of discussion included reports from AWWA, ABPA, IAPMO, USC Foundation, Palomar College and Cuyamaca College. In addition, Paul Molissani demonstrated his EcosConnect software.

Yesterday, October 9 2014, we had about 30 people in attendance at our Quarterly Business Meeting and Annual Barbecue. Reports were given from AWWA, ABPA, IAPMO, and Palomar and Cuyamaca Colleges. We learned that USC has published a list of leaded devices for which lead-free parts are approved and can be used in lieu of older, leaded replacement parts. The approved minutes for our July meeting are now posted in the Members-Only Documents area of the website.
